Behind The Scenes

David proposed on April 24th, 2015 in Lake Tahoe

We love going to Lake Tahoe with friends for the weekend or going up solo with the RV to camp near Zephyr Cove where these photos were taken. As a result it has become a pretty special place for us. So for our engagement shoot we decided to make the drive, and also incorporate some of our favorite things to make the shoot a little more personal to us as a couple. There is a little bit of everything we love in the "Picnic" scene. Our favorite wine, dark chocolate, our favorite cheeses, and of course CARROTS! Our photographer Charissa Murakami did a fantastic job and blew us away with the photos she took. She is the sweetest person and so professional! She makes you feel so comfortable when shooting. Our videographer, Darin Reyes, was kind enough to provide us with a sneak peek to our engagement video shortly after the shoot. We got to know him a little better on the drive up to Tahoe and it was a pleasure to work with him. David and I are extremely happy with the decision to have him capture our wedding day. His work is impressive and his positive attitude makes him a joy to work with!
